The Lincoln City Super Auction II, THE SEQUEL—
Coming March 17 and 18
We are collecting donations! Call 541 994 3070.
Thanks to our sponsors: Tanger Outlet Mall, CenturyLink, Lincoln City Visitor and Convention Bureau, The Electronic Superstore, Taft High School, Lincoln City Liquor Outlet.
Roby's Furniture and Appliance just sent in three very nice furniture pieces.
These donations just in: $100 in travel with All Ways Traveling. $750 worth of advertising with Yaquina Bay Communications.
We have also received donations from The Red Cock, Surftides, McMenamins, Jan David, Nelscott Cafe, Scribbles, Oyster Cloyster, Chinook Winds Casino Resort, Isham and Sprague, Allegory Books, and Blockbuster, to name a few.
For more than forty years, Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce held an annual city-wide Auction. Then in the last four or five years, the event changed, but NO MORE! The traditional fundraiser will renew this coming March 17th and 18th, when the bidding begins Saturday at 9am and breaks at 10pm, starting again on Sunday from 10am-4pm.
For those who prefer the “up close and personal” element of an auction, the public will be welcome to experience Super Auction II, live at 790 SE Highway 101 in the space next to The Electronic Superstore. Of course, if rubbing elbows isn’t your preference, follow the action by visiting one of the many viewing centers set up around town -- or stay home and go to the Chamber’s website at www.lcchamber.com -- phone in hand -- to participate from the comfort of an easy chair. Lots of options!
Volunteers are welcome. Super Auction II needs auctioneers as well as auction workers. Those businesses wishing to participate by donating auction items will receive acknowledgment in print and internet advertising.
Chamber Director Linda Roy says, “We’re very excited and happy to bring this experience back to the city. We’ve had so many people indicate they’ve missed this community event and we’re all looking forward to its homecoming.”
If you would like to volunteer, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Tiffany Shaw at lincolncitygm@libertyinn.com. If you would like to be an auctioneer, please contact director@lcchamber.com.
Enjoy the Super Auction II - The Sequel in the comfort of your own home or join your neighbors at one of our Chamber Member-hosted VIEWING CENTERS!
